Exercise overall command, direction, and control of the Academy.

  • Supervise, and prescribe appropriate policies, rules and regulations in accordance with the policies and directives of higher authorities.
  • Issue guidance and instructions on the internal management and operations of the Academy.
  • Approve designations of personnel.
  • Perform other functions as directed by higher authorities.
  • Prepare statistical reports for policy decisions.
  • Issue transcripts of record and reports of grades of cadets and graduates.
  • Evaluate document requirements for cadet    admission and graduation.
  • Act as Chairman of the Honor and Awards Committee.
  • Act as member of Cadet Admission Committee during Cadet Admission Processes.
  • Responsible for all academic records, reports, and maintenance of individual academic files of all Academy graduates in the preparation of statistical and policy decisions.
  • Prepare bulletins, catalogs, brochures, school calendar and other announcements.
  • Determine admission requirements, transfer, graduation and other matters pertaining to student accounting.
  • Plan and execute registration procedure as approved by the Cadet Admission Committee.
  • Examine admission credentials of cadets.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Director, PNPA.
  • Provide legal advice, opinions and recommendations to the Director.
  • Assists Summary Hearing Officers and other Offices when required.
  • Acts as the Legal Counsel for the Command.
  • Drafts and scrutinizes Memorandum of Agreement/Understanding entered into by the Academy and provides necessary recommendations.
  • Assists the Director in providing position papers pertaining to any pending bills in Congress affecting the Academy and any other issuance by higher Office for comments and appropriate recommendations.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Director, PNPA.
  • Undertakes public information through mass media; updates on issues and concerns pertaining to the Academy.
  • Acts as spokesperson of the Director and the Academy.
  • Keeps historical records and establishes liaison/linkages with government and private entities and other communication agencies.
  • In-charge of the information management of the Academy.
  • Act as a member of CAC.
  • Serve as the second-In-command and principal assistant of the Director in the overall management and operations of the Academy.
  • Act as Officer-In-Charge In the absence of the Director.
  • Under the Office of the Deputy Director is the Office of the Academic Board Secretary on which the Deputy Director is the Chairman of the Board.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Director, PNPA.
  • Direct, supervise, and ensure coordination among Staff in administrative, operational, and other command activities.
  • Ensure ideal working relationships among Staff and Support Units; chairs the Cadet Admission Committee and other Committees as the Director may approve.
  • Act as Chairman of the Cadet Admission Committee.
  • Serve as principal adviser of the Director.
  • Performs other related functions as directed.
  • Assist the Chief of Staff in the supervision of all Chiefs of Officesโ€™ compliance and other requirements.
  • Arrange and schedule Conferences and Meetings as directed.
  • Review all written communication from lower office and make necessary corrections if needed.
  • Review the Minutes of Meeting and make necessary corrections upon the approval of the Chief of Staff.
  • Note and Remind the Chief of Staff of the compliances and requirements of the lower Office, if it is complied.
  • Act as the Head Secretariat and Master of Ceremony during the Regular Staff Conference.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by higher authority.
  • This office shall cater and facilitate concerns regarding the cadet selection and admission procedures for cadet applicants.
  • Manage the implementation of cadet recruitment, selection and admission process.
