  • Doctrine of Command Responsibility
    • The Academy adheres to the Doctrine of Command Responsibility in accordance with Civil Service Rules and Regulations to ensure responsibility and accountability of officials and employees. Under Executive Order No. 226 series of 1995, any government official or supervisor, or officer of the Philippine National Police or that of any other law enforcement agency shall be held accountable for โ€œNeglect of Dutyโ€ under the doctrine of โ€œcommand responsibilityโ€ if he has knowledge that a crime or offense shall be committed, is being committed, or has been committed by his subordinates, or by others within his area of responsibility and despite such knowledge, he did not take preventive or corrective action either before, during, or immediately after its commission.
  • Principle of Chain of Command
    • The Academy recognizes the Principle of Chain of Command to ensure respect, discipline, and courtesy to preserve the integrity of the organizational hierarchy.
  • Organizational and Systems Development
    • The Academy pursues its mandate, vision and mission through a quality management system.
  • Policy on Role Modeling/Mentoring
    • All personnel, faculty members and cadets of the PNPA shall be good examples of integrity, professionalism, good ethical conduct and high sense of discipline at all times.
  • No Hazing/Maltreatment Policy
    • All personnel and cadets shall strictly observe the No Hazing/Maltreatment Policy under existing laws, rules and regulations.
  • No Sexual Harassment Policy
    • All personnel and cadets shall strictly observe the No Sexual Harassment Policy under existing laws, rules and regulations.
  • No Discrimination Policy
    • The Academy adheres to the policy of non-discrimination. Its personnel and cadets shall not discriminate against a person by reason of gender, religion or belief and other circumstances as provided by law.
  • Prohibition on Personal Servitude
    • Under no circumstances shall personnel utilize or employ any cadet or subordinate employee in services, projects, or activities designed for their personal gain or benefit. Such circumstances and orders are considered as misconduct.
  • Policy on Simple Living
    • All personnel and cadets shall lead modest lives appropriate to their positions and income. They shall not indulge in extravagant or ostentatious display of wealth in any form.
