Silang, Cavite – The Philippine National Police Academy celebrated the Incorporation Rites of the PNPA SANDIRANGAN Class of 2028 on July 29, 2024, at Camp BGen Mariano N Castaneda. Senator Maria Imelda Josefa Remedios Romualdez Marcos was the distinguished guest of honor, alongside PMGEN Samuel C Nacion, Director of PNPA.
The Incorporation Rites mark the integration of Plebes (Fourth Class Cadets) with the Upper-class Corps after completing the 45-day New Cadet Orientation Course. From 20,648 applicants who passed the PNPA Cadet Admission Test, only 1,031 advanced, with 707 completing the screening process. Ultimately, 339 cadets swore the oath, forming the strong 332 PNPA SANDIRANGAN Class of 2028, united under the motto, โThe Pain we Feel Today is the Strength we will Need Tomorrow.โ
The event also included the groundbreaking ceremony for Marcos Field, dedicated to former President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Sr., acknowledged as the โFather of PNPA.โ The PNPA continues its mission to develop competent, disciplined, and morally upright public safety officers through a comprehensive curriculum emphasizing duty, leadership, and community service.
