Silang-Cavite- On March 4, 2024, the Philippine National Police Academy under the leadership of PMGEN SAMUEL C NACION, celebrates the 2024 National Women’s Month with the Theme: “We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” LIPUNANG PATAS SA BAGONG PILIPINAS: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan’ Patutunayan, with the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Director Evangeline R. Almirante, Staff Service Chief Planning and Research, NAPOLCOM. The activity held at PNPA Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

Director Evangeline R. Almirante is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Ateneo De Davao University in 1986, and obtained his Master’s Degree in National Security Administration in 2011 at the National Defense College of the Philippines with an Academic Merit Award. As a woman in public service, she headed and served National Police Commission Region 11 as Acting Chief, Technical Services Division, National Police Commission Region 1 as Chief, Administrative Division, Officer-in-Charge for the Office of the Assistant Regional Director, and as Regional Director. At present, she is the Staff Service Chief of Planning and Research Service NAPOLCOM Central Office.

With her dedicated service and commitment to her duty to serve the country and to uplift the morale and welfare of women, she is one of the advocates of women’s empowerment and children’s rights and one of the faces of women today who continually strive to promote gender equality, respect, and champion the empowerment of all women.

In the message of Dir. Evangeline R. Almirante emphasized the role of women in society, especially women in public service, as she highlighted his message about equal opportunities and succeeding in traditionally male-dominated fields where the values of equality, integrity, and competence exist regardless of sex or gender. As he urges every female cadet to keep breaking down boundaries and to embrace responsibilities as trailblazers, she says, “Your presence here today attests to your dedication to service, and others are inspired by your journey through the PNPA. Take advantage of every chance to develop, learn, and lead honorably.”

In closing, she inspired all personnel and cadets to be valued in public service and foster equality, camaraderie, and unwavering commitment to public service. She closes her message by stating, “Let us celebrate the achievements of women within the Philippine National Police Academy and acknowledge the importance of a gender-inclusive environment. Together, as one united force, we can create a future where every individual is empowered to contribute their best to the service of our nation.”
