Silang, Cavite- A path on a noble and courageous journey along a winding road riddled with challenging and demanding trails, each bends a test of resilience and fortitude. The Philippine National Police Academy, under the leadership of PMGEN SAMUEL C NACION, accorded retirement honors to PMGEN ERIC E NOBLE, the Director of Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM). The said event was held at BGen Cicero Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite on June 13, 2024, and was presided over by the Deputy Chief, PNP for Administration, PLTGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA. The activity was also attended by PMGEN NOBLE’s family, friends, and colleagues.

PMGEN ERIC E NOBLE is a proud member of the PMA “Tanglaw-Diwa” Class of 1992. Was born on January 16, 1968, in Dagupan City, Pangasinan. With more than 35 years in public service, he is an award-winning cop with several prestigious national awards and was conferred by the President of the Republic of the Philippines in 2009 as one of the Country’s Outstanding Policemen in Service (COPS), and at the same year, he was awarded as a Nationwide Presidential Lingkod Bayan Awardee as an Outstanding Government Employee and Public Official. Also, he was honored by the Provincial Government of Pangasinan as one of the ASNA Awardees, the Province Outstanding Citizens’ recognition.

Likewise, in 2011, as Chief of Police of Meycauayan City Police Station, the station was adjudged the nationwide Best in Police Community Relations, and from October 2016 to 2017, he served as Provincial Director of Cebu, where he was declared the 2017 Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) for Administration in Central Visayas. In the same period, the Province of Cebu was adjudged the Best Provincial Police Office in Central Visayas and the Second-Best Nationwide, and in 2020, he was awarded the Best Senior PCO for Administration in PNP Central Luzon. From August 8, 2022, to June 26, 2023, he served as the Director of the Philippine National Police Academy, where he earned his second star in the police service and championed the anti-hazing initiatives, promoting leadership and professionalism among cadets. He introduced the WAHGAM “War Against Hazing Guard Against Maltreatment,” Cadet Club Day, Cadet Store, Agri Portal Gardens, Doctors to the Barracks, Multimedia Club, and many more.

In his message, PMGEN ERIC E NOBLE emphasized his journey as a cadet and police officer, highlighting the values of being God-centered, service-oriented, and family-based. He underscored the significance of these principles in navigating his mission as a public servant, stating, “My journey did not happen by chance; it has always been planned, and there is a framework.” Through this, he identified these pillars that guide him in every path, ensuring that God is a constant presence, guiding him in his mission within the Philippine National Police to serve the community through leadership and spiritual guidance, utilizing his acquired knowledge and skills.

PMGEN NOBLE also stressed the crucial role of the family in the life of a cadet and police officer, acknowledging that the journey begins with family and thrives with their ongoing support and love. In conclusion, he emphasized that the concept of family extends beyond blood ties, encompassing those who share common values and journey alongside, emphasizing the importance of these relationships until the journey’s end.

The journey of PMGEN ERIC ESCOSIO NOBLE in the Philippine National Police served as an inspiration to the new generation of public safety officers.
