Silang, Cavite – The Philippine National Police Academy under the leadership of PMGEN SAMUEL C NACION, recently paid tribute to the esteemed career of PBGEN DOMIC T BEDIA in a retirement ceremony. The event held at BGen Cicero Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castaneda, Silang, Cavite, on November 22, 2023, and was presided over by PLTGEN RHODERICK C ARMAMENTO.
PBGEN DOMINIC T BEDIA is a member of PNPA “TAGAKAPAGKALINGA” Class of 1991, a native of Tubungan, Barotac, Nuevo, Iloilo and born on November 26, 1967, the second child among 6 children of Domingo “Kambang” Bedia and Salceda “Apad” Ticar. In his more than three decades of public service he was assigned to the various areas of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, occupying key command and staff positions in the PNP and a classic example of a well-rounded and multi-faceted police officer.
In his exemplary service and devotion to duty he took and completed various trainings and courses local and abroad and a recipient of several awards and commendations, he is also an outstanding officer in our country, he was also part of the United Nations Missions in Kasovo in 2002-2003, Sudan in 2005-2006, Timor Leste in 2007-2009.
As PBGEN DOMINIC T BEDIA takes a well-deserved step into retirement, the PNPA salutes his remarkable legacy and expresses gratitude for his years of dedicated service. His contributions have left an indelible mark on the law enforcement community, embodying the highest ideals of the Philippine National Police.
