Silang, Cavite- As Acting Director/Superintendent PBGEN Samuel C Nacion led the prestigious Monday flag raising ceremony on Spetember 25, 2023 at BGen Cicero Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castaneda, the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) got the week off to a great start. For the cadets and staff of the PNPA, this weekly tradition has immense significance since it represents their constant dedication to the institution’s ideals.
A long-standing custom, the ceremony of hoisting the flag is a potent symbol of the country’s loyalty, pride, and solidarity. Embodying the fundamental principles of justice, integrity, and service that define the academy, the Acting Director stood shoulder to shoulder with the cadets, personnel, and staff and acknowledging the academy’s deserving personnel who have shown their utmost commitment and dedication in the name of service for the country.
In his remarks, PBGEN Nacion emphasized the significance of sustaining the institution’s objectives and expressed his deep delight in having presided over such a significant event. He praised the cadets for their unwavering dedication to academic brilliance, physical fitness, and moral purity and exhorted them to continue on their path to become trustworthy and capable future leaders of the country. He also stressed their future roles as public safety officials and their shared accountability for the Philippine National Police’s development.
