Taguig City, Manila— Cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy actively participated in the grand launching of the CYBERSPHERE PHILIPPINES 2023 supported by the Department of Information and Communications Technology with the theme “Towards a Cyber Resilient ICT Nation” at Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City on September 5-6, 2023.
CDT 1C Mark Jordan M Martinez, CDT 1C Art Lorenz F Francisco, CDT 1C Cleojean G Pia and CDT 1C Ken Dannel B Pintuan served as the representatives of PNPA in the annual event that focuses on CYBERSPHERE as a vital platform for the ICT, international cybersecurity and cloud solution vendors, experts and thought leaders to meet, share, experiences and views and explore rapidly growing opportunities with decision makers and stakeholders in the Philippines. PLTCOL Wilhelmson A Tan and PLTCOL Joseph Arvin L Villaran served as the advisers for the cadets in the aforementioned event.
The cadets also witnessed the launching of the National Scam Watch Movement led by Sec. Ivan John Uy of the DICT and other stakeholders of the program that aims on securing and promoting cybersecurity in the nation.
