Silang, Cavite– On August 14, 2023, the Philippine National Police Academy proudly welcomed PBGEN JONATHAN A CABAL, a distinguished member of the PNPA “SANDIGAN” Class of 1994, to his new role as Deputy Director of PNPA replacing PBGEN CHRISTOPHER C BIRUNG who is now the Regional Director of PRO 2. The arrival honors were led by Director PNPA, PBGEN SAMUEL C NACION, along with the Command Group and Staff.
PBGEN JONATHAN A CABAL illustrious career spans decades of dedicated service to the nation. His commitment to upholding the values of the Philippine National Police has been evident throughout his various leadership positions. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Director of PNPA, PBGEN CABAL served as the Executive Officer of the PNP Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR). His leadership prowess was also showcased during his time as the former Deputy Regional Director for Operations at PNP Regional Office 8 (Eastern Visayas) and as the former Chief of Regional Staff at the same office.
