Silang, Cavite— The International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) Philippines of the United States Department of Justice proudly recognizes the successful completion of the Instructor Development Course for LAYAG-DIWA Class 2024. The conclusion ceremony, which was conducted on July 28, 2023, at PNPA Heroes Hall, demonstrated the PNPA’s unwavering dedication to high-quality instruction and the development of future law enforcement leaders.
The hands-on and thorough Instructor Development Course in the Academy was made possible to give PNPA Cadets better teaching strategies, cutting-edge instructional tactics, and improved leadership abilities. This training equips future public safety officers to successfully transfer knowledge, mentor other cadets, and establish the fundamental principles of integritu, service, and excellence. Its main purpose is to develop the next generation of police officers.
The cadets undertook holistic training modules during the course of the program, participating in a wide range of informational talks, practical exercises, and hands-on workshops. A wide array of topics, including instructional design, student evaluation, classroom management, ethics, and human rights were covered within the curriculum. These skills are essential in preparing cadets for the variety of scenarios they will deal with in their future employment as law enforcement officers.
