Lost, I find myself somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Looking for people to ask where I am and where I should go, to get back to my destination. I set my foot into the unknown, having my stead with me namely, gallantry.
I am now in a place where I have no idea where to start, what to do to move forward and improve myself from being a naive, uncivilised person into a dashing and refined gentleman.
Seeking refuge from this harsh, unheard-of, and untold place I am into. Loneliness, fearfulness, and unassertiveness are my companions along the way. It was dark —— pitch-black, per se.
While I was occupied dealing with how to survive a day at a time, there was this wisp of light I see in from afar that grew little by little. I slowly opened my eyes to the gleam of light, and there he was. Courage, justice, and hope are my mentors that will fill the pieces of honour, humility and discipline to my jigsaw-puzzled life. And to the people who became my source of inspiration and motivation.
A diamond in the rough is what I will become. A knight with a radiant maroon armour that will be worn on my masculine body that resembles an Olympian god. Possessed with a wit of the God of war, and a kind heart of the God of Love for those who are in need.
Time has come. I shall leave this challenging but wondrous place. Where I find the better version of myself. Where I can see the beauty of the little things and appreciate the circumstances that refines me into a great person I’ve become.
