Silang, Cavite— Philippine National Police Academy ceaseless in its aim to set off physically and mentally condition cadets as they participate in PNP SAF HEROES RUN IN LAGUNA. The PNP SAF initiated an event called “Heroes Run: Be a Hero, Run with Heroes” on December 4, 2022 in Greenfield City Sta to advocate for the preservation of the physical and mental welfare of all uniformed and non-uniformed personnel and to commemorate all the modern heroes.
PNPA Cadets fared well in the PNP SAF Heroes run, Members of the PNP were among the top finishers in the most recent sponsorship event. Led by CDT 1C QUILLANO, MARKLYZON D, Cadet-in-charge of Marathon Corps Squad with the Acting Adviser, PLTCOL RICHARD Q AGRADE together with our Officer Primary Responsible PMAJ ALEXANDER SIGUA ALVAREZ.
The Heroes Run comprises categories — 3-Kilometer, 5-Kilometer, 10-Kilometer and 21-kilometer footrace was participated by adept runners nationwide. Out of 4,741 runners, 71 cadets finished strong in the 21K category, while 14 cadets finished in the 10K category. PNPA Cadets carry out their skills and competency in marathon as they are acclaimed as TOP FINISHER in the said race, CDT 3C CALPAHI – 1ST RUNNER-UP21K FEMALE CATEGORY, CDT 1C AMINNAJAR- 2ND RUNNER-UP 21K MALE CATEGORY, CDT 3C REALUYO – CHAMPION 10K FEMALE CATEGORY, CDT 3C CORDETA – 1ST RUNNER-UP 10K FEMALE CATEGORY and CDT 2C LONGEY – 2ND RUNNER-UP 10K FEMALE CATEGORY
This humble achievement only shows the potential and skills of the cadets that they can compete in this sport while promoting to them running as an avenue for fitness and wellness for a healthy lifestyle as well as to create awareness and harmonious relationship among the running community the value of discipline and good health.
The PNPA along with its goals and aspirations promote physical and mental wellness also support the community as the conducted PNP SAF HEROES RUN aims to assist the Revitalized-Pulis Sa Barangay (R-PSB) program and initiatives in localities throughout the nation that are located in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs).
The director PNPA, endlessly promotes security and peace, and he eagerly awaits opportunities to participate in events that will help cadets understand their chosen professions, mainly preserving peace and eliminating illegal activities. Each individual benefits from the opportunity to actively discuss careers with one another by learning in-depth information that they can use in the profession they have chosen.
