Silang, Cavite— The PNPA Intramurals 2022 with the theme “Building Strong and Competitive Cadets for a Better Future Through Sports and Teamwork” concludes at the historic Campos Grandstand, PNPA on October 22, 2022, after days of grueling and intense games in various sporting events.
Since the beginning of the games on October 14, 2022, the cadets of CCPNP have demonstrated their skills and prowess in various sporting events, fostering the camaraderie and comradery necessary to achieve success for their respective companies. The corps of cadets excelled in ball games, track and field events, board games, e-games, cheer dance competition, among others, during two weeks of intense competition and sportsmanship. This merely demonstrates that the “Iskolar Para sa Bayan” are well-rounded and multitalented in many aspects of life, making them ideal candidates for future national leadership.
The event’s Guest of Honor and speaker was Dr. Ernesto Jay G. Adalem, president of the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (NAASCU). He emphasized the significance of teamwork in achieving success in life. In addition, he stated that cadets should collaborate because it will be one of the keys to their success in serving the public after they graduate from this prestigious institution. The event was also graced by the PNP Fitness Team’s jaw-dropping cheer and dance performance. The audience was equally astounded by the PNPA Taekwondo Corps Squad’s performance.
The Charlie Company has been crowned the 2022 Intramurals Overall Champions after displaying brilliance and exceptional skill. The Conquerors of the corps, led by their Company Commander, CDT 1C Tom L. Decripito, have dominated the majority of sporting events through exceptional teamwork. Hawk Company was recognized as the First Runner-Up, Delta Company as the Second Runner-Up, and Bravo Company as the Third Runner-Up.
