PNPA PRESS RELEASE CONTROL NO. 2022-20
AUTHORITY : PBGEN ERIC E NOBLE, Director, PNPA
ACTION OFFICER : PLTCOL LOUIE DC GONZAGA, Chief, Public Information Office
DATE : October 7, 2022

Silang, Cavite—The Online Application for the PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT), which ran from 1 June to 2 October 2022, has concluded successfully, with a total of 30,036 cadet hopefuls from across the nation having registered.
This year’s output was well within the yearly average, and over the past five years there has been a steady increase in the number of applicants seeking the opportunity to become a PNPA Cadet and to enjoy the benefits of a full government scholar who, upon completion of the four-year combined baccalaureate and training program, will become lieutenants in the Philippine National Police.
The Director, PNPA, PBGEN Eric E. Noble, urges all qualified applicants to prepare adequately for the upcoming examination, focusing on the six areas of competency that include communication skills, mathematics, general sciences, logical and abstract reasoning, current events, general information and history, and service aptitude. “We do not seek quantity; rather, we seek quality. Expect the PNPACAT to be extremely competitive so that, in the initial steps of admitting candidates for the PNPA Class of 2027, we can ensure that we select the most qualified candidates.”
This year’s PNPACAT is scheduled for the 29th and 30th of October at 37 testing centers nationwide. (PNPA-PIO)
