Silang-Cavite- On March 11, 2024, the Philippine National Police Academy, under the leadership of PMGEN SAMUEL C NACION, celebrates the 33rd PNP Founding Anniversary coincide with the Women’s Month Celebration, with the Guest of Honor and Speaker Atty. Leonora G. Bartolome, Acting Staff Service Chief, Finance Service NAPOLCOM. The activity was held at PNPA Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

Atty. Leonora G. Bartolome is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Isabela State University and graduated as Cum Laude. Demonstrating her passion and dedication to learning, she pursued another degree in Bachelor of Laws at Cagayan State University. Additionally, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Isabela State University, Master of Laws at San Beda College, and Master in Public Safety Administration at Philippine Public Safety College. With her academic excellence, she received the academic excellence award and one of the best policy papers.

As evidenced by her perseverance, hard work, and success, she had passed the CPA Board Exam, BAR Exam, and Career Executive Service Examination. It is undeniable that she is a woman of exceptional merit, deserving the utmost respect and inspiration to all of us, especially to all women worldwide; a woman of dreams who champions women empowerment and promotes gender equality, as she served in the position of Acting Staff Service Chief, Finance Service NAPOLCOM.

As part of the program for the celebration of the 33rd PNP Founding Anniversary, the PNPA recognized the invaluable personnel who uplift the PNPA and the PNP as a whole for their exemplary performance in police service.

In the message of Atty. Leonora G. Bartolome, she emphasized gender equality and discussed the importance of Women’s Month celebration, as we celebrate the invaluable contributions, resilience, and achievements of women, reflecting on how our ancestors fought for women’s rights. She stated, “We can display the same courage, bravery, fearlessness, and boldness. Yes, women can make a difference; we can influence change in our respective homes, workplaces, assignments, designations, or positions, with our skills, talents, and abilities.”

In closing, she highlighted the role of women in supporting men in their endeavors, inspiring the cadets and personnel of the PNPA to act justly and responsibly. She affirmed that all of us should have equal opportunities, rights, power, and privileges.
