Silang Cavite – In a remarkable display of camaraderie and athleticism, the PNPA Resolution Run 2024, organized by Trail Mania Philippines, took place on January 28, 2024, both within and outside Camp General Mariano N. Castaรฑeda. With diverse distance categories of 10-KM and 24-KM, the event brought together a multitude of participants, including PNPA Cadets, Cadets from the Philippine Public Safety Academy (PPSA), NCRPO personnel, PNP-SAF personnel, and enthusiastic runners from various communities.
The event commenced with onsite registration starting at 2:30AM, drawing in eager participants who were ready to take on the challenge. The official opening at 4:00AM featured an invocation by CDT 1C JASON G BANAL, Regimental Athletic Officer, along with the singing of the national anthem and invigorating warm-up exercises.
Mr. Leo C Roldan, Race Director of Trail Mania Philippines, took the stage at 4:20AM to conduct a comprehensive safety briefing, providing essential guidelines to the runners. The 24-KM run category commenced at 4:40AM, followed by the 10-KM run at 5:30AM, setting the stage for an exhilarating competition.
At 8:10AM, the last runner from the challenging 24-KM category crossed the finish line, marking a triumphant conclusion to the event. Shortly after, at 8:30AM, Mr. Roldan conducted a thrilling raffle, giving away race tickets for consolation prizes and two (2) Altra running shoes as major prizes.
The highlight of the event was the awarding ceremony, where the top three (3) winners of each category were recognized for their outstanding achievements. The winners received certificates, goods from event sponsors, and well-deserved cash prizes.

The event concluded at approximately 9:30AM on the same date without any untoward incidents, leaving participants and organizers alike with a huge sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
