Silang, Cavite-Philippine National Police Academy, under the leadership of PMGEN SAMUEL C NACION, honors the remarkable achievements and dedicated service of PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, the 29th Chief of the Philippine National Police, in a Testimonial Parade and Review. The event was held at Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite, on November 29, 2023, and was attended by the family and friends of PGEN ACORDA, along with the Command Group of the Philippine National Police.
PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR is a distinguished member of the PMA “SAMBISIG” Class of 1991. With more than three decades as a public servant, he has left an enduring impact on the law enforcement community, earning the respect of his peers. He was known as a “HUMBLE PUBLIC SERVANT” and showcased an unwavering commitment and dedication to public service. His leadership exemplifies the ideals of a police officer: a resolute, independent, and competent leader with the highest standard of excellence, integrity, justice, honor, and service to our nation.
During his over seven-month tenure as the Chief of the Philippine National Police, he has outlined his 5-Focused Agendas: Aggressive and Honest Law Enforcement Operations, Personnel Morale and Welfare, Integrity Enhancement, Information and Communication Technology Development, and Community Engagement. These agendas have brought transformative changes, enhancing the capabilities and efficiency of the police force and contributing to the overall well-being and effectiveness of the PNP.
In his keynote address, he emphasized his accomplishments and contributions as Chief of the Philippine National Police. Additionally, he extended his message to the cadets of PNPA, encouraging them to become exemplary leaders and uphold the ideals of Service, Integrity, and Justice. He highlighted the journey of profound service and love for our nation, emphasizing patriotism, and urged them to carry forward the legacy of the Academy.
Under his guidance, the PNP has experienced positive changes, reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding the welfare of the Filipino people. PGEN ACORDA’s leadership has paved the way for a more responsive and accountable police force, embodying the principles of excellence and service to the nation.
