Silang, Cavite- The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) got the week off to a wonderful start on November 13, 2023, during the traditional Monday Flag Raising ceremony led by Acting Director/Superintendent PBGEN Samuel C Nacion at BGen Cicero Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castaneda. This weekly tradition is extremely important to the cadets and personnel of the PNPA because it symbolizes their unwavering commitment to the organization’s principles- building nation-centered officers with utmost honor and service to the country.
The flag raising ceremony, a long-standing custom, is a powerful representation of the nation’s allegiance, pride, and unity. The Acting Director stood shoulder to shoulder with the cadets, staff, and personnel, embodying the core values of justice, integrity, and service that define the academy and recognizing the deserving personnel who have given their all in the name of serving the nation.
PBGEN Nacion stressed in his remarks the need of upholding the institution’s goals and expressed his sincere happiness at having presided over such an important event. He encouraged the cadets to keep moving forward on their journey to become dependable and competent future leaders of the nation and commended them for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence, physical fitness, and moral purity. Additionally, he emphasized their joint accountability for the advancement of the Philippine National Police and their future roles as public safety officials.
