On March 17, 2026, the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), under the leadership of PMGEN ANDRE P DIZON, in partnership with POCARI SWEAT, and through the efforts and initiatives of the PNPA Academy Health Service (AHS) led by PLTCOL FE AIDELEEN DV JIMLAN and the PNPA Community Affairs and Extension Services Section (CAESS) led by PLTCOL MYLENE A RODRIGUEZ, successfully conducted the Women on the Move: Zumba for Empowerment. This activity was held in celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, anchored on the theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” with the sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”, at the PNPA Gymnasium, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.
More than just a fitness activity, the Zumba session became a vibrant expression of unity, strength, and empowerment among women. With every step and beat, participants celebrated not only physical wellness but also confidence, resilience, and solidarity. The activity highlighted the importance of a healthy lifestyle while fostering camaraderie and uplifting the spirit of womanhood.
