ESSENCE OF INCORPORATION

The end of 45 cadet orientation program signals the beginning of another challenge to the fourth classmen. Their stability under pressure is once again put to test as they will have to live with the scrutinizing upperclass corps under one roof. Once incorporated, fourtclass cadets join the corps activities together with their upperclassmen from reveille to taps. It is also the start of their formal academic instructions. Being incorporated is the opprtunity to be taught with core values and character expected to that of a RESPONSIBLE CADET.

With each calculated steps, newly incorporated sheeps march towards a higher calling to carry out their responsibility and renew their commitment to a dream profession they decided to pursue. Incorporation marks another chapter in the ever changing and ever advancing cadet life for having stood strong , relentless and unyielding amidst difficulties and hardship. New challenges and struggles await the sheeps as they are about to live under one roof with their upperclassmen from the shade of the melting pot. As the sheeps and the immaculate merge, the strength   of the upperclassmen and the idealism of  the neophytes intertwined, completing the full circle of the grand fraternity of men and women. Incorporation is another stage of cadet's life, it is in this phase that they have to prove to their seniors what they have learned during their breaking period, showing that they are worthy to be called cadets and no longer civilians.

As they join the upperclass corps in completing the long maroon line , they are expected to be prepared in facing the new challenges of cadetship. This "TION" symbolizes the plebes readiness to cope up with the expectationns and standard of the corps.

In reaching this stage of cadetship, means another room for improvement and polishing. Their character is under the process of refinement in order to make an effective and upright leaders out of them.

It is also the time which opens another battlefront , where they have to start applying the things they have painstakingly learned during the breaking period.

FEAR NOT BECAUSE IT IS A PART OF YOUR TRANSFORMATION INTO BECOMING COMPETENT LEADERS OF TOMORROW. YES, IT IS NOT AN EASY ENDEAVOR , BUT BE INSPIRED FOR BEHIND THIS INFATHOMABLE DEGREE OF SACRIFICES ISBTHE ATTAINMENT OF YOUR NOBLE GOAL: TO BE OF SERVICE TO THE POEPLE WITHOUT COUNTING THE COST OR ASKING SOMETHING IN RETURN.  (shared from the post of PSI Limbo)

President PNOY leads PNPA Graduation

His Excellency PRESIDENT BENIGNO S. AQUINO III is the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the 36th Commencement Exercises on March 26 for graduating cadets belonging to the “Lakandula” (LAhing KAyumanggi Na Handang I-alay sa Bayan ang DUgo at LAkas) Class composed of 226 males and 20 females. These 246 members of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class 2015 will be automatically commissioned as officers in the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) immediately after their graduation, the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), the agency that supervises the PNPA, announced today.

“After four years of rigorous training these cadets who passed the rigid admission and screening processes of the PNPA will be conferred with the baccalaureate degree of Bachelor of Science in Public Safety (BSPS). The top cadet will receive the highest honors to be given by no less than President Benigno S. Aquino III.  All of them afterwards will take their oath as newly commissioned officers of the PNP, BFP and BJMP with the rank of Inspector, equivalent of Lieutenant in the military” PPSC President Ricardo F. About 20 of the 225 cadets slated for the PNP reportedly wish to join the Special Action Force (SAF), the elite unit of the PNP where 44 of its members were killed last January 25 in Mamasapano, Maguindanao while on a mission to serve warrants of arrest to two most wanted international terrorists. It can be recalled that six of the SAF officers killed were PNPA graduates.
