The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) held the Unit Assignment Ceremony, also known as Unit Selection Night, for the 326 graduating members of the PNPA “SILANG-PAGLAOM” Class of 2026 on March 25, 2026, at the PNPA Fidel V Ramos Hall, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite. The event was graced by PMGEN CONSTANCIO T CHINAYOG, JR, Director for Personnel and Records Management of the Philippine National Police (PNP), who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
During the ceremony, the graduating cadets formally selected their assignments to various Police Regional Offices and National Support Units across the country. The SILANG-PAGLAOM Class of 2026 marks the second batch in the Academy’s history to graduate with all members exclusively joining the ranks of the Philippine National Police, following the PNPA SINAGLAWIN Class of 2025.
The selection of the cadets’ assignments was based on merit, individual preference, and the organizational needs of the PNP, ensuring a balanced and strategic deployment of newly commissioned officers nationwide.
