Police Cadet Chanchai Acoba Nacion from Santa Cruz, Laguna, proves that dreams deferred are not dreams denied. Raised by strong women—her mother, grandmother, and aunt—she found inspiration in their values. As Rank 6 of PNPA SINAGLAWIN Class of 2025, her journey was built on perseverance and self-awareness. Nacion first applied to the academy at 17 but chose to wait until she was fully ready. After earning her Criminology degree and passing the licensure exam with an 88%, she faced setbacks but reentered the academy at 22 with renewed determination. Her remarkable comeback, fueled by academic excellence, made her a consistent topnotcher. Nacion’s story serves as inspiration for fellow cadets, reminding them that a second chance can lead to greatness. As she always says, “Everything happens for a reason,” because a dream delayed is not a dream denied.
