The anahaw has fallen!
Mixed emotions permeate the venue as a flock of men in blue, black and gray, representing the tri-bureaus, fill the mess hall at Camp General Mariano N. Castaneda, Silang Caviteโready to accept their new rank as lieutenant and inspectors as reflected in their respective shoulder boards. Graced with the presence of their loved ones and their upperclassmen, they celebrate the donning with glee and fervor. Truly, the much-awaited event has lived up to its expectations.
Proud expressions paint the faces of their parents as they were given the honor to witness their child as they accept their new duties and responsibilities. After four years of vague contact and limited interaction brought by the demands of training and the COVID pandemic, their families could finally have the opportunity to show their wholesome love in the flesh.
These cadets no more have become full-fledged commissioned officers, as declared and made true by the oath they made in front of the nationwide audience. A new addition to the proud lakan community, these fresh leaders are ready to uphold the integrity their uniforms hold as they take on their respective tasks outside the portals of the academy.
The actual challenge lies outside of the world. However, as these 208 individuals, before reaching the glorious end, went on countless deliberation, physical and mental tests, apart from their years of filling the empty cup when they first began their cadetship program, these 208 few have worked to the limit to emerge successful.
With that being taken into consideration, the strength of Masidtalak has more than proven their worth which warrants them deserving of the anahawโa rewarding burden to carry for the next phases of their lives.
