On March 14, 2026, the alumni of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) gathered once again at the grounds of Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite, in celebration of the 46th PNPA Grand Alumni Homecoming with the theme “Isang Asosasyon, Bihirang Pagkakataon, Pag-asa ng Bagong Henerasyon.” The event was graced by the presence of PGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

In his message, the C, PNP expressed his strong support for the continued development of the Philippine National Police Academy through projects and resources dedicated to the training and formation of future police leaders. He emphasized the vital role of the Academy in shaping disciplined, competent, and service-oriented officers who will lead the organization with integrity and professionalism.

As he stated, “Let me assure all of you today that while I serve as the Chief of the Philippine National Police, I will continue to push for meaningful improvements in the PNPA. Hindi ito mananatiling plano lamang—we will move these initiatives forward, from improving facilities to strengthening training and leadership development,” he said.

He also underscored the importance of discipline anchored in integrity and the Cadet Honor Code, reminding every cadet that honor is the foundation of leadership. He emphasized that truthfulness, fairness, and personal accountability must guide every action, both inside and outside the Academy.

He further stressed that the same principle rejects hazing and any form of abuse disguised as tradition. “Iwasan na natin iyan at tanggalin na natin iyan. True brotherhood in the police service is not built through fear, pain, or humiliation, but through mutual respect, discipline, and shared responsibility,” he added.

As the PNPA alumni gathered in unity and camaraderie on the 46th PNPA Grand Alumni Homecoming, the event served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the bond among members of the PNPA community while reaffirming their shared commitment to the values of honor, service, and excellence. The homecoming also inspired the new generation of cadets to uphold the proud traditions of the Academy and continue its legacy of producing competent and principled leaders for the nation’s law enforcement service.
