Silang, Caviteโ€”The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) proudly commemorates the triumphant conclusion of the Instructor Development Course for LAYAG-DIWA Class 2024 facilitated by the Inter-Agency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) of the US Embassy Manila, a significant milestone in the professional growth and development of the cadets. The closing ceremony, held on June 16, 2023 at PNPA Heroes Hall, showcased the unwavering commitment of the PNPA to excellence in training and the cultivation of future law enforcement leaders.

The Instructor Development Course is a rigorous and comprehensive program designed to equip the PNPA Cadets with advanced teaching methodologies, cutting-edge instructional techniques, and enhanced leadership skills. With the sole aim of nurturing the next generation of police officers, this course prepares future public safety officers to impart knowledge effectively, mentor other cadets, and instill the core values of integrity, service, and excellence.

Throughout the duration of the program, the instructors underwent intensive training modules, engaging in a diverse range of theoretical discussions, practical exercises, and hands-on workshops. The curriculum encompassed a wide array of subjects including instructional design, student assessment, classroom management, ethics, and human rights. These competencies are crucial in preparing cadets for the multifaceted challenges they will face in their future law enforcement careers.

The event provided a platform to recognize the remarkable achievements of the participants and pay tribute to their dedication and unwavering commitment to their vocation.

The event also witnessed the presentation of certificates to the successful participants, signifying their completion of the rigorous Instructor Development Course. These certificates serve as a testament to their enhanced capabilities and their unwavering dedication to the profession of teaching.

The closing ceremony culminated in a moving ceremony symbolizing the passing of the torch from the current instructors to the Class 2024 cadets. It highlighted the commitment of the faculty to guide, inspire, and mentor the next generation of law enforcement leaders, ensuring that the values and principles instilled during the course will endure.
