Silang, Cavite—It was a memorable experience as Carmona National High School students visited the Philippine National Police Academy on June 3, 2023. They were welcomed by the staff of the academy and given a brief explanation about the history and operations of the academy. The students toured the PNPA campus and several facilities that cater to the training and educational requirements of the cadets.

The highlight of the tour was the Silent Drill Exhibition. The cadets showed their precision and skill as they performed a series of intricate military drills with their rifles. The students were impressed with the coordination and showmanship of the cadets. They were also amazed by how well the cadets could follow commands without saying a word.

After the exhibition, the students had the chance to interact with the cadets. The cadets happily answered their questions, and the students were eager to know about the academy’s rigors and requirements. They were also impressed with the camaraderie and discipline that the cadets exhibited.

The students were equally astonished to learn about the cadets’ training. The cadets’ training included extensive physical conditioning, specialized firearms training, and tactics specific to law enforcement situations. They were impressed with the amount of preparation that the cadets underwent before being deployed as police officers.

The visit to the PNP Academy was a life-changing experience for the students. They were inspired by the discipline, bravery, and dedication exhibited by the cadets. The students’ enthusiasm for joining the police force grew significantly after the visit. Some even said that they would consider enrolling in the academy when they are eligible.

The visit to the PNP Academy was also beneficial for the school. It exposed the students to a world outside of their own, and it pushed them to expand their possibilities. It was an excellent opportunity for them to learn about the profession and the opportunities it could bring.

The teachers and mentors of Carmona National High School praised the PNP Academy for allowing the visit. They hoped that they could arrange another visit in the future and have similar programs that will grant students the opportunity to learn about and explore other areas outside their school.
