Silang, Cavite — Despite the sudden downpour, the Philippine National Police Academy held their traditional Monday flag raising ceremony at Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Castaneda, Silang Cavite, graced with the presence of Hon. Lucas Bersamin, Executive Secretary of the Office of the Republic of the Philippines.
Showing flexibility amidst the weather conditions, the corps of cadets anticipated the words of wisdom the distinguished visitor would lend on. Moreover, Hon. Bersamin airs his positive sentiments to the Academy, well-known as the prime institution who produces exemplary and responsible leaders.
“PNPA has essentially ensured that its graduates are imbued with the values of justice, integrity and service,” Hon. Bersamin highlights in his speech. Additionally, he gives his heartfelt congratulations to the Academy for preserving a prestigious reputation in its long history.
“May PNPA continue to adhere its noble aim in serving the nation as patriots,” Hon. Bersamin goes on in his speech, recognizing the Academy for honing individuals who has honored their roots as sons of the nation.
“I salute you for stressing the importance of the national flag,” Hon. Bersamin continues, advising the cadets to always raise the flag with ardour and passion, as it represents unity in times of war and peace.
“Mabuhay ang PNPA!,” Hon. Bersamin exclaims as he wraps up his speech.
