Silang, Cavite – On March 8, 2023, the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) uncovered the time capsules buried by the graduating class of 2023, known as MASIDTALAK, during their application to become PNPA cadets four years ago. The ceremony took place at the PNPA Campos Grandstand in Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite, and was led by Director PNPA, PMGEN Eric E Noble.
The time capsules were buried in 2019, with the hopes and aspirations of the future cadets, who were then applicants to the PNPA. These capsules contain items, messages, and other memorabilia that represent the dreams and aspirations of the young cadets as they begin their journey towards becoming responsible public servants and leaders of the nation.
The ceremony started with the opening of the time capsules by the members of the MASIDTALAK class of 2023, who were visibly excited to see the contents of their time capsules after four years of waiting. Director PNPA, PMGEN Eric E Noble, also shared some words of wisdom and encouragement for the cadets as they embark on a new journey as graduates of the PNPA.
The time capsule ceremony is a first-of-its-kind tradition in the PNPA, which symbolizes the values and principles that the academy instills in its cadets. It serves as a reminder of the sacrifices, discipline, and dedication that the young cadets must undergo to become responsible public servants and leaders of the nation.
The PNPA is proud of the accomplishments of the MASIDTALAK class of 2023, and congratulates them on their graduation. The academy is confident that they will continue to embody the values and principles instilled in them during their training, and make significant contributions to the nation and its people.
