Manila, Philippines – March 6, 2023, the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Masidtalak Class of 2023 held their Ring Hop Ceremony at the luxurious Okada Manila Hotel. The event, which is part of the academy’s Rites of the Ring tradition, was attended by cadets, academy officials, and distinguished guests.

The Rites of the Ring is a time-honored tradition in the PNPA where cadets are awarded their class rings, which symbolize their status as graduating cadets. The ceremony serves as a milestone for the cadets as they prepare to graduate and take on their roles as future leaders of the Tri-Bureau: Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.

During the ceremony, the Commandant of Cadets, PBGEN Jaysen C De Guzman, gave a speech emphasizing the significance of the Rites of the Ring tradition. He encouraged the cadets to embrace their responsibilities as future leaders of the PNP and to uphold the principles of integrity, honor, and service.

Following the awarding of the class rings, the Director of the PNPA, PMGEN Eric E Noble, delivered the closing remarks. In his speech, he congratulated the cadets on their achievement and urged them to continue to uphold the academy’s standards of excellence.
