Silang, Cavite — After eight months of relentless training and grueling stages to become a refined gentlemen and ladies of the long maroon line, the PNPA SILANG-PAGLAOM Class of 2026 have finally received the sought-after handshake of their upperclassmen in their monumental Recognition Rites at the historic Campos, Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang, Cavite on January 7, 2022.

Graced by the presence of PGEN RODOLFO S. AZURIN JR, PNP Chief, together with PMGEN ERIC E. NOBLE, PNPA Director, members of Class 2026 are unfazed by the scorching heat of the sun as they listen to their class song, standing proudly and firmly in front of their families, friends, and loved ones whom have longed for their presence as they embarked their journey inside the portals of the academy.

The Recognition Rites is one of the vital stages in the life of a cadet inside the academy. It is the time wherein all the sacrifices and efforts of the fourth-class men will be recognized and be wholeheartedly appreciated by their upperclassmen who served as their mentors in their stay inside the revered educational institution of the country. From being dubbed as “Sheep” or “New Cadets”, they will now be move-up and become members of the upper-class corps. They will hold new cadet duties, further molding their character and well-being as they will soon become reliable police officers that will champion the interest of the general public.
The 374 strong and highly-touted members of Class 2026 will continue to uphold the culture of excellence set forth by this premier institution. Along with their triumph and success come newfangled responsibilities as they continue to traverse the path in becoming reliable leaders of the nation.

“As you all know, the Honorable Secretary of the Interior and Local Government, ATTY. BENJAMIN ABALOS JR., has called on all Colonels and Generals of the PNP to submit their courtesy resignations and reservations that high-ranking officials are linked to the illegal drug trade” said PGEN AZURIN in his speech, pertaining to the internal cleansing in the ranks of all PNP Personnel. “Balang araw ay gagampanan niyo rin ang tungkulin na mamuno sa loob ng ating organisasyon at gusto natin na pagdating ng panahong yun ay walang anumang bahid ng katiwalian, korapsyon o anomalya ang nakakabit sa inyong mga pangalan at ranggo, sa halip ay mataas na kredibilidad, respeto at integridad ang ating aanihin mula sa taong bayan” he added.
