<\/a>Date: January 29, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n Silang, Cavite- The Philippine National Police Academy, under the leadership of PMGEN SAMUEL C NACION, Director PNPA, starts the week with the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony. The event took place at the BGen Cicero Campos Grandstand, Camp General Mariano N Casta\u00f1eda, Silang, Cavite, on January 29, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of the celebration, PNPA also conducted the awarding of the Commandant\u2019s List and the pinning of badges to the 14 (fourteen) deserving cadets for the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2023-2024, recognizing their achievements in prolific performance in tactics, physical fitness, and conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A cadet needs to obtain a weighted average rating of at least 90% equivalent grade (EG) or 8.4 GPA in all non-academic courses, provided that they do not have any non-academic courses with a rating of less than 85% (EG) or 7.5 (GPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n PBGEN JONATHAN A CABAL, Deputy Director, PNPA, shared his guidance with the cadets and personnel, emphasizing the ultimate sacrifice of the SAF 44 and the importance of loyalty to the 4Cs: “Country, Constitution, Commander in Chief, and the Chief of the Philippine National Police.” In his message, he stated, “It should be inculcated, it should be imbued, and it should be nurtured within us,” highlighting the values of discipline, patriotism, respect, and camaraderie. He also stressed the importance of “change within ourselves” and the “value of caring,” advocating for adherence to simple practices that support the government.
