The PNPA shall be under direct administrative and operational supervision and control of the Chief of the PNP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-vivid-red-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-6178e5ec9481d55ad33a737dfc017b37\"><strong>Function<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the conduct of its academic program, the Academy shall have the function, power, and authority to grant and confer academic degrees and\/or proficiency certificates or diplomas and such other appropriate privileges to successful participants (Section 5, PD 1780).
