and computerization requirements of the Academics Group, Tactics Group, and the many administrative entities in the PNPA.\r\n\r\nThe ICTMD oversees, coordinates, and controls the IT environment scanning for administrative applicability in the academy, the development and provision of the academy's data resources (both computerized and non-computerized), computer and network facilities, information systems, and services, as well as the design and\/or improvement of its processes and ICT facilities and capabilities, with the goal of ensuring that these services effectively meet the needs of the academy and the Philippine National Police.\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">Vision<\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Integrate ICT into every aspect of PNPA operations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">Mission<\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Assist the PNPA in realizing its goals through the extensive use of high-quality ICT resources and services.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Mandate<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">NHQ-PNP GO Number DPL-19-11 Para 6(f): Manage the website and maintains review ICT policies and standards for the effective and efficient management of ICT resources of the Academy.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Formulate, implement, and review ICT-related academic curriculum for the Academy.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Provide technical support to computer networks, communication facility, hardware and devices of the organization.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Provide strategic plan for the enhancement of ICT infrastructure such as facilities, processes, system, network, and hardware for the Academy.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ensure the effective and efficient administration and operation of ICT system in partnership with DICTM, ITMS and outsourced IT.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Provide ICT capacity-enhancement to PNPA personnel and conduct researches on ICT to make the Academy responsive to the current needs of the PNP and other public safety bureaus.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>ICT Support Section<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Provide ICT support during command activities and special events;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Operate LED walls, Public Address System (PAS), projectors and other output devices;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of ICT equipment and resources;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Conduct and maintain the inventory of PNPA ICT resources;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Manage the PNPA\u2019s WAN\/MAN\/LAN infrastructure;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assist in the setup and maintenance of PNPA\u2019s camp CCTV;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Coordinate with DICTM, ITMS, CES and ICT providers regarding the efficient management and upgrading of PNPA ICT resources and<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Perform other tasks as directed by the Chief, ICTMD.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Systems, Web and Database Development Section<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Manage the online presence of PNPA that is assigned to ICTMD;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Administer the social media presence of the ICTMD;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assist in the implementation of PNP information systems and database projects;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Propose or develop new information systems and databases projects for adoption; Perform other tasks as directed by the Chief, ICTMD.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Training, Research and Development Section<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Formulate, review and implement ICT including cybersecurity, social media training programs for PNPA personnel;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Formulate, review and implement ICT academic curriculum for PNPA Cadets;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Coordinate with DHRDD, DICTM, ITMS, CES and ACG regarding availability of ICT trainings for PNPA personnel;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Conduct training needs analysis and skills inventory on ICT;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Conduct policy researches on ICT to ensure responsiveness to the PNP\u2019s and other public safety agencies\u2019 current needs;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Conduct awareness and P.I.C.E. on latest trends\u00a0 on ICT and PNP ICT programs<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Perform other tasks as directed by the Chief, ICTMD.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Information Security and Plans Section<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Assist in the preparation of accomplishment reports on ICT;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Implement PNP ICT plans, programs and policies;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Implement PNP information security and cyber security plans, programs and policies;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Conduct awareness and P.I.C.E. on information security and cybersecurity;<\/li>\r\n
