Silang, Cavite – Last December 18, 2020, PNPA conducted its periodic Internal Quality Audit (ISO 9001:2015 Clause 9.2 Internal Audit) attended by the Acting Director-PNPA PBGEN RHODERICK C ARMAMENTO, PNPA Command Group, Heads of Groups & Divisions (as process owners), and PPSMD personnel with Internal Auditors (Dr. Noel Capulong, NUP Romulo Banta, and NUP Mirasol Gabrillo).
Internal Quality Audit’s main purpose is to systematically and independently assess the effectiveness of the organization’s quality management system and its overall performance. It is a process for continuous improvement under the Quality Management System necessary for the attainment of the unit’s goals and objectives. Critical to this is the way managers monitor the system’s performance-monitor quality across all operations. It allows managers and or leaders to assess the organization’s quality management in detail. By doing this you can be confident that your ISO 9001 framework remains effective and compliant.
PBGEN RHODERICK C ARMAMENTO, expressed his aspirations for PNPA to continue raising the bar of excellence and continuously be a good model in the PNP being the first NASU or National Administrative Support Unit of the PNP to be ISO 9001:2015 certified since February 16, 2016.
“I expect that that process owner, the division chiefs as well as their chief clerks and personnel comply with the quality management system that we have, to ensure the smooth flow of our administrative functions,” GEN ARMAMENTO stated.
Late last year (June 3, 2019), PNPA was again granted the certificate of registration after satisfying the requirements, operates a management system that has been assessed as conforming ISO 9001:2015.
