QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

          Must be a PhD or at least a Master’s degree or its equivalent in Law, Political Science, English, Mathematics, Humanities, Social Sciences and any other discipline related to Public Safety and Social Defense.

Work Experience:

          At least three (3) years of progressive work and or teaching experience in their respective field of expertise is required.

Language:

          Fluency in English (both written and oral) is a must.

In a change of command ceremony presided over by Atty. Ruben Platon, PhD., President, Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), PCSUPT/ATTY CLARENCE V GUINTO now heads the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) as its 27th Director, today Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the PNPA Grandstand vice PSSUPT NESTOR FAJURA who is slated to head the PNP Human Rights Affairs Office (PNP HRAO). PCSUPT JOSE ERWIN T VILLACORTE, Deputy Director, Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM) represented the PDG NICANOR BARTOLOME, Chief, PNP on the occasion.

PCSUPT/ATTY CLARENCE V GUINTO, who holds a Master in Public Management degree from the Development Academy of the Philippines, takes pride in accepting the mantle of responsibility as he leads the 300-strong personnel of the PNPA. Taking cue from the PPSC President’s policy of treading the straight path through quality education and training and organizational competitiveness through personnel welfare and staff development, PCSUPT GUINTO, who was previously a Deputy Director and Dean of Academics at PNPA,aims to fulfill the imperatives of the training and education of the Cadet Corps and help push forward the frontiers of a sustained momentum towards organizational growth and development.
